invited to share in a children’s story at the beginning of the service with our Sunday School Co-ordinators, Alcina Chiu and Shannon Laycock. Following the story, the children leave for their morning Sunday School classes. Average attendance each week is between 10 to 15 children and young people.
Our classrooms provide colourful and exciting environments designed to encourage and enhance learning. Children are taught life values and Bible stories through kid-friendly workshops. Each workshop involves children in a different learning activity, including art, drama, games and theatre.

Footprints Summer Day Camp
Our church is a founding supporter of Footprints Summer Day Camp, a major ecumenical outreach project shared by the four churches on The Donway Circle. Religious instruction is integrated into an all-day camping program supervised by paid staff and overseen by a volunteer board. Bursaries are available for families who cannot afford to attend. Weekly Adult Study Groups
In addition to the Sunday School program, there are opportunities for adults of the congregation to develop and nurture an understanding of their faith. These include an active Bible Study group and a Tuesday Study group. A confirmation class is also offered when demand exists.
Bible Study Group
A bible study group led by the minister meets in the church library Monday evenings at 7pm. All are welcome.

Tuesday Study Group
This group meets in the Living Room Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to11:30 beginning in September. The discussion is focused on understanding contemporary religious thinking through books by recognized scholars and clergy. Consult the white binder in the church library to discover some of the books we have studied. Everyone is welcome to attend. We are frank, open and supportive.
